Warranty Terms & Conditions
Warranty is not applicable if guard film is not removed at the time of installation.
- End user customer must clean the installed sheets on a regular 6 months' basis.
- In event of claim under this limited warranty, purchaser must provide original copy of the following:
- Purchase Receipt.
- Duly stamped Warranty Certificate.
- The exclusive remedy under this warranty shall be, at the sole discretion of LUXUME, to either repaint the products or provide free of charge replacements (but not installation) for the products.
- LUXUME extends this warranty solely to the original purchaser of the product. This Warranty is non-transferable and non-assignable.
- Except as set forth herein, LUXUME makes no other warranties with respect to the product, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchant ability or fitness for a particular purpose.

- No terms or conditions other than those stated herein, and no agreement or understand- ing, oral or written, in any way purporting to modify this limited warranty shall be binding on LUXUME. Unless made in writing and signed by its authorized representative.
- This warranty shall be governed by the Indian regulations and the Indian laws shall apply to the construction, enforcement and interpretation of such warranty. Any litigation or dispute, which could arise, will be settled by the law Court of Ernakulam, India.

LUXUME hereby provides limited WARRANTY to genuine buyers of colour coated
coil/sheet for roofing and cladding application, for a period of 10 years against perforation,
from the date mentioned in the purchase invoice from authorised dealers, provided terms
and condition mentioned below are found in compliance.
This Limited Warranty applies to pre-painted products supplied by LUXUME, using the
RMP paint system with a warranty up to 10 years and no previous warranty shall apply to
such product.
- Film Integrity shall be defined as the absence of peeling, chalking, chipping or cracking, except for such crazing or slight cracking as may occur on tightly roll- formed edges or brake bends at the time of forming pre-painted sheet.
- Color Change shall be defined as freedom from fade or change as warranted in ΔE Units calculated in accordance with ASTM D2244-93, CIEL a B", 10" Observer, secular included. Color Change is measured on an exposed painted surface that has been cleaned of surface soils and chalk and then compared to corresponding values measured on the original or unexposed coated surface.
- Chalk or Oxidation shall be defined as a numerical rating as warranted then measured in accordance with the standard procedures specified in ASTMD421789.
Terms and Condition:
- The coated Metal must not be cleaned with abrasive or chemical cleaners and subjected to water infiltration due to improper packaging.
- Claims under this limited warranty must be sent by the warranty holder in writing to LUXUME and must be received by LUXUME, within thirty (30) days after discovery of the initial condition giving rise to the claim.
- In the event of a claim under this limited warranty, warranty holder must supply docu- mentation, to the reasonable satisfaction of LUXUME., that the product in question demonstrates the failure of the Product, which was due to a breach of the limited warranty stated herein.
Conditions:
- The limited warranty shall extend subjective utilization of product within 6 months from the date of shipment or 3 months after its application, whichever occurs first. Product applied to Metal that is later embossed is warranted provided the embossing process does not fracture the coating or metal or adversely effecting paint adhesion or film integrity. Any corrosion or loss of adhesion as a result of the embossing process is not covered under this warranty.
- Non-uniform color changes that result from unequal exposure of roofing, sidewall or trim panels to sunlight and or the elements are not covered by this warranty unless such color change meets the definition of Color Change above.
- This limited warranty does not extend to, or cover damage to the Product
- Occasioned by improper storage of the coated metal prior to installation {NCCA guide- lines described in the series titled. How to Fabricate Pre- Paint} or improper packaging, handling, shipping, processing and /or installation or
- Damage to the Product which suffers from improper forming, fabrication, cut edge exposure, corrosion of the substrate or any other condition between the substrate and coating which causes coating degradation or delamination or any deficiency in the cleaning, metal pretreatment, or failure of the metal for any reason.
- This limited warranty does not cover damage or failure of Product which damage or failure is attributable to acts of God, falling objects, external forces, explosions, fire, riots, civil commotions, acts of war, radiation, or other or such similar dissimilar occurrences beyond LUXUME’s control.
- The durability of the paint supplied to warranty holder will be up to 10 years (residential, commercial and school building used for habitation, distribution centers, hotels, shopping malls, office buildings assembly factories and schools located in rural or residential areas. This warranty excludes industrial steel mills, power generating stations, oil fields, oil refin- eries, ore mines, chemicals plants, paper mills, chimneys (both domestic and industrial) or other unusual environmental exposure, severe marine – 5000 feet from salt water.)
- The warranty shall be valid and applicable for roofing and cladding end application only; wherein the installation is at an incline of not more than 75° from the vertical.
- The warranty shall not be valid if:
- The product is stored or installed in a way which allows contact with animals and / or animal waste or its decomposed products or chemical fumes or cement products.
- Deterioration caused by use of improper fastener material other than that complying to AS 3566 Class ¾ or equivalent, corrosive chemicals, any claim arising failures to remove debris and/or failure to provide free drainage of water including internal conde nsation from all surfaces of the product and any claim arising due to misuse, wilful act or negligence and footage on erected sheeting / cladding.
- Damages to the products or the paint occasioned, directly or indirectly, by moisture or other contaminations detrimental to the product because of improper storage, packaging, shipping, handling, processing or forming of the product prior to installation.
